Chickpea Hummus


Ingredients

·        15 or 16 oz can garbanzo beans (chickpeas), rinsed and drained
·        1/4 c  tahini (sesame seed paste)
·        3 T water
·        2 T lemon juice
·        1 T extra virgin olive oil
·        1 clove garlic, halved
·        ½  tsp kosher salt
·        ½ tsp ground cumin
·        ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
·        1 T chopped parsley
·         Lemon juice

Instructions

1.     In food processor, combine beans, tahini, water 2 T lemon juice, oil, garlic, salt, cumin and pepper.  Cover and process until smooth. 
2.       Transfer to medium bowl.  Stir in parsley.  Stir in additional lemon juice to taste.
